Heat from arm rest???

Hi all,
Strange thing yesterday- in slow traffic I suddenly noticed my arm rest getting hot! It seems to be under the small plastic cover between the cup holder and arm rest! Any had this or knows what could be causing it?
2013 R Coupe.

There's a lot of gubbins under there that gets hot, plus the tranny and exhaust run under there as well.
Never heard of it getting hot though....any smell?

Hi! No smell at all- so I’m hoping that nothing is burning. Think I will just have to put it down to very slow moving traffic, hot day, I will keep an eye on it.
