I have an F-Type V6 convertible 4wd (380 bhp) and would like to make the wheels / types fill the wheel arches more

So, does anyone know if I can add 10mm wheel spacers all round?

Does this cause a problem being a convertible (bigger distances between wheels, torsional rigidity)?

If I can do it without an issue, does anyone have any recommendations on which to use and where to get them from?

I understand you can add 10mm spacers without issues!

Shouldn't be a problem...a few of us run far more than 10mm all round.

Eibach sell a 15mm kit, but I believe does require the studs being trimmed back 3mm or so.

Don't think you'd get away with losing 10mm of stud.

Just being curious here........For those that have 10mm+ wheel spacers fitted to their car, is there any noticeable difference in the amount of road grime that the wheels deposit onto the surrounding bodywork (e.g. wings, sills, bumper and door panels) compared to when no spacers were fitted?

I ask this because wheel spacers push the wheels further out from inside the protection of the arches.

Not really. I have JLR optional small wind deflectors fitted to the front wheel arches. Very subtle, but 'tunnel' the air/grime away from the body.
The F always acts like a bulldozer and collects crud on the side sills, spacers or no unfortunately.

Thanks for the info.

I did read that some front wheel arch spats don't do much, other than look good? Perhaps the JLR ones are better?

My car collects a little road grime on the sills but it's not too bad. I haven’t got the side skirts, which although look nice, I’ve heard they’re good for growing plants?

It could be T2R12665 / T2R12666?

Here’s a link......

I’ve attached the TOPIx fitting instructions.....https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topix/c ... oupId=1665

My car has #1's fitted as standard.

I added #2's thinking they would be a waste of time, however as I wanted to get rid of brake dust (Prior to fitting Porterfield pads), I found they worked well with the lower wishbone mounted air scoops fitted to the air, and diverted the dust away from the wheel area well.

These cars do attract crud....heavy stuff you have no chance, dust and light stuff seems to be 'divertable'.
