I moved my 2014 MY15 to Aussie from the UK recently, so one of the first things was to update the Nav database. Well it seems it’s not that simple.

Nav shop Aussie sell updates for Jaguar, they sell a DVD update disc for the F Type but I form me via email I can’t update it by the DVD drive, (seems somewhat stupid selling a DVD then for a 2014-2016 car) they have told me via email and making a USB is illegal, don’t even know if I can use the USB port to update it. 😱

My15 has a DVD player, whatever that if for now I do know, who watches a DVD in a car….. and one USB port in the centre console who sells a car you can’t update the b…y Nav system

Any ideas?

The nav update is a download to usb which then auto installs. The illegal USB is rubbish because you are not copying copyright content
