Hi, I've found recently that one of my headlamp washer jets stays out after use. I carefully tried pushing it back in, it did that OK. Can anyone advise if it's an easy fix; is there a spring return broken or something? I'm not sure how it works, I can only guess.
Or maybe a dealer repair under extended warranty?

Reviving this old thread since I have a similar issue. On the few rare occasions that I've used my headlight washers I noticed that one of them sticks out ever so slightly after being used. It's like it's a bit misaligned so that the cover gets caught on an edge of the hole it comes out through. A little prod makes it pop back in place.
Did anyone get this kind of issue fixed? I see scm mentioning adjusting the bumper... is that the solution? Since my bumper is more or less perfectly aligned I'm a bit reluctant to having it adjusted in any way.

It worked for me, done under warranty. The alignment isn't perfect in a number of places, but I can't see that when I'm driving, and driving is what's important to me!

Hot air gun applied to the stalk when it's deployed, and gently-gently bend the stalk for better alignment...damn site quicker and easier than removing the bumper or paying a dealer to do it!MajorTom wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:17 pm Reviving this old thread since I have a similar issue. Now that's an interesting idea. Is there anyway to deploy it and keep it fully deployed though?Tel wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 9:31 amHot air gun applied to the stalk when it's deployed, and gently-gently bend the stalk for better alignment...damn site quicker and easier than removing the bumper or paying a dealer to do it!MajorTom wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:17 pm Reviving this old thread since I have a similar issue. Exactly the correct technique!
