When at the dealers for a service/check over they said one of the exhaust valves had siezed.
They said they couldn't free it so charged £1850 to fit a new back box....
I kept the old box to cut it up and remove the valves and resonators but thought I'd just have a quick look at it...
Well I've just added some oil and give it a little tap... It's FREE !!!
I've made a little video for you tube.. but I mention the STEALERS name so not sure sure if I can make it public

I would be going back to them and asking for a refund .
Excellent video.
Typical of a main dealer to replace the back box at a cost of £1850 rather than fix the exhaust valve/s issue!
If you don’t get any joy with the dealer it could be worth contacting the Jaguar Customer Experience Centre https://www.jaguar.co.uk/contact-us/index.html
With regards to the new back box, Jaguar have updated the exhaust parts to include a 'graphite collar' and 'bullet spindle' to prevent the exhaust valves failure, as shown here.....viewtopic.php?f=21&t=5731
