Headlamp adjustment

My dipped headlamps are a bit too low to be of any real use. It's always been like it but not really a problem since I rarely have need to go out after dark. However, needing to go out more after dark I would like to tweak them up a bit.
There appear to be two adjusters on my MY2018 with LED headlamps. In the attached picture, (nearside from behind), which one is the up/down adjustment, (and what does the other one do)?

I cant remember which one of the two it is but it is a 6mm allen key and you turn clockwise to raise it up. You don't need very much.

‘A’ is the vertical (up/down) adjuster and ‘B’ is the horizontal adjuster.

Shown as numbers 8 and 9 on the Xenon headlamp diagram I provided.....
