This is normally a good indication if the battery is fully charged or not. When I bought my car, collecting it from near Nottingham, the first time the Stop/Start worked was near Holyhead, about 160miles later - and I'd no low battery warning or issues when I started!
You are right, the STOP/START doesnt work, so this means the battery is low (44% acording to the tester)...this could be the reason of the Roof Message and why the roof doesnt even moves?
A board that needs a full charged battery? Motors of the roof need a full charged battery?

Those AA men were good in their day!
But cars were much simpler then as well.
12.3V is only aout 50% charged.

Not the case going by the member who posted a chart , 12.3 = 70%

Well, the low battery may have triggered a module into a certain state to protect the overall car - in the same way that the stop/start doesn't work under certain conditions. As I advised earlier, make sure you have a fully charged battery and then start diagnosing from there.

BTW, Jaguar isn't the only manufacturer whose cars require lots of volts to function properly, else why would others like Aston Martin, Mercedes, Porsche, etc, supply rebadged CTEKs for their own models?

I correct my previous post.
The battery is an AGM and does have more charge than 50%
