Anyone know if it's possible to get rid of the standard SVR spoiler and revert to the normal deployable spoiler? I know as a factory option it could be done. To my eyes the SVR spoiler ruins the elegance of the car though appreciate others may have a different view. SVRs without the spoiler seem to be hens' teeth.

There's a number of people who have done it the other way around. I believe both the spoiler and actuator are different and individual to each type. Given an SVR actuator pack and spoiler can be retro fitted, it makes sense that this can also be reversed.

SVR coupe's without the spoiler as always seem to take ages to sell, so it might be an idea to retain the kit to refit. From what I've heard retro fitting the SVR spoiler is expensive, with the actuator alone being something like £3k on its own. Pretty cheap the other was around with plenty of second hand parts I'd imagine.

You can get the complete svr spoiler for roughly 4k, i payed way less for mine :)
I do have my std ftype spoiler with actuator if your interested, you'll have to respray the spoiler though.
