Well new performance seats are in!
Fitted by Elite & Performance Jags Derby. As always top job, zero issues & everything working as should
The original modules, & tensioners where transplanted over. My new seats are in effect my old seats according to car.
Using the ‘new’ modules would cause issues as seats modules are linked to VIN. This can be resolved with the file sent off & programmed to car, if needed. Dan did say best to use donor seats with same functionality although everything can be overcome.
Only driven back from Derby but would say seats give bit more room. They seem slimmer than my originals. Feel very nice to sit in
Now going to Seat Surgeons in York for bespoke reupholstering & logo on head rest. Quite like the full leather but might introduce some alcantara.
For information Seat Surgeons are also proficient in replacing seat air bags. They require special stitching which the guys there do.
