Hi everyone,
Another question for my new to me 2014 R coupe.
My steering wheel switch doesnt do a thing (not in auto or manual mode and not on memory)
It just doesnt do a thing, no noises, no trying to move, also not when I pull the steering wheel to “help” it a bit.
I replaced the switch, still nothing.
Any ideas?
There is no fuse for this as far as I can discover. I think the ECM does the signal, but dont know how to check if it does exactly that.
Thanks for any help
Steering wheel column adjust doesnt work
Presume you are UK? Always worth adding a signature with car details so you get the best help.
There is a fuse for steering wheel controls F51 on passenger side foot well (but would expect all the buttons not to work as well).
There is no reference to where the steering wheel column gets its power from. If your steering wheel buttons are working OK and all other electrical items are OK then I would presume the motor for the column. There are a couple of posts on this forum over the past 10 years of issues and replacement.
