Hello -
I have a 2015 F-Type S Convertible and the latch to lock the top closed won't throw. Everything else works fine: Top will open into the boot, flaps close, it latches open, it will close all the way until the top should hoof into the top of the windshield, and then it just stops. I can manually latch it / unlatch it. If I latch it and try to open it the windows will go down a few inches as normal, and then it stops. If I unlatch it manually, everything else works. I replaced the battery, I bought a latch mechanism / motor and moved the wiring over to see if it would throw and still nothing.
My thoughts are this is a fuse, or some sensor. I checked fuse 6 i(15 amp) in panel under the A pillar (Driver side) and BTW, what a crap location for a panel. Fuse was fine. I can't find anything on line or in the forums about any sensor that triggers it but I am assuming there has to be something.
Any help is appreciated, TIA!!!
