Hi
I have a 19 plate P340 with 22,000 miles on the clock. I don’t travel far but a lot of my mileage is at night so I often get the chance to open it up a bit.
I live in Northumberland,
I absolutely adore the car but I am struggling with a recurring fault.
EXHAUST FILTER FULL …. Goes into limp mode with jnstructions to keep below 50MPH for 15 minutes (doesn’t clear problem).
Took it to the garage where I get it seviced.
They showed me the diagnostics which showed a faulty Lambda sensor.
They replaced the sensor and forced a regeneration of the filter.
They also suggested taking the car for a blast to get everything nice and hot which would ensure the exhaust filter was totally cleaned.
Before I took it out for the planned long run the problem recurred after 10 days so I duly took the car out for a long run trying to keep the revs up via the flappy paddles.
The car felt amazing after the long run so I thought that might be the end of the problem. I promised myself to repeat the long run every now & again.
Warning message came on a week later !!!
Took no action and next day the car was fine.
A week later the message is back on !!!
I have no idea where I go next with this so any advice would be appreciated.
