Don’t the upper waterlines to the supercharger need bleeding when taken off and on?

Well, like the quite long title suggests, I’m wondering if the upper waterlines (the ones you see going in and out the supercharger with the engine cover still on) need bleeding when taken off and back on.

This because I did the service bulletin on the exhaust valves, which involves taken these lines off. As they are waterlines, connected to the main cooling system I was surprised it barely leaked water when taken off, also I would think I would create an air bubble doing this🤔

Do they lock when taken off? Or is this in some way not part of the pressurized system? I followed the steps in the service bulletin exactly, so should be fine, but just want to understand how to his works
