Now then folks,
I have a slight misalignment of the boot (trunk) on my P300 convertible. It's at the front edge on one side only and is noticeably lower the the other side. I've had a look but don't want to start adjusting anything and screwing it up.
From the images you can make out what the problem is. There is a small screw which lands on a small bracket/pad when closed. Is this what I need to adjust to raise this corner slightly?

No - that pad is just the stop once the hinge is adjusted.
You need to loosen the 2 or 3 bolts on the horizontal part of the hinge on the inside edge of the wing.
I suggest mark the current position with masking tape so you can revert to where it was.
Undo the bolts just a fraction so you can move it in a controlled manner. Nip them up, test and adjust more or less
Adjust the stop screw once you are all set correctly.
