Hi guys help needed please I'm very worried. I have 2014 v6s coupe. The car has sat on my drive for about 4 weeks and when I got in to start it the dash board light up like a Christmas tree with multiple warnings as attached also engine management light on codes are p2187 and p2189. I also found that the boot had about a cm off water lying in it . Never had a leak before any help would be greatly appreciated.

John.

I would make sure everything is dry in the boot. These cars have a second battery for running equipment ect. Would this have been affected by the water?

If it’s been standing idle over a month in the wet. As you said first dry it out and put it onto a battery charger and set to recond with a CTEK MXS 5.0 or similar. Then take it from there.

Check any fuse boxes too, haven't got wet.

MikeM's advice is sound - give the battery a good charge and then start diagnosing.

Hi thanks for advice battery has been on ctek recon and is showing 12.8v with the ignition off. Trying to dry out boot as much as I can but like I said before weather is really bad here and I can't trace where leak is getting in.

There's another couple of threads on boot leak.. havd a search. Probably coming in from the clips under the boot liner covers.

Thanks V8esp I have read all the posts. My boot seems completely dry now and it has rained quite alot here and no water seems to be getting into the boot 😒 seems very strange. All the fault lights are still on . The car starts and runs as normal on tick over.
