There really is not much competition at £139,000, whilst appreciating it is not an insignificant amount of money there is not a lot to compete unless you go up by another 50K.
That's getting into McLaren money. You can get a new 540c for that and the 570s starts at £149k. Appreciate that's before options but if I had £139k to spend on a car I would not be buying an SVR. I love my F-type but for that kind of money I'd be popping into my nearest McLaren dealer!

A base Porsche 911 Turbo is £129000. Granted, everything is an extra :( , but with another £10000 for extras, I would rather have that :D

Well the orange did its job of distracting me ... I had missed the fact that at 139 large they had forgot to fit the panoramic roof!!
Storm Grey V6 coupe, fun, fast, popping and crackling with smiles all the way ... missed more than I expected!
1998 NSX 3.2 Targa manual
C43 AMG estate, lots of toys, like the F-Type but with 4 seats and far more stealthy but still with pops and crackles!

I was just about to reply to a response to my original point that asked me what else comes on to the radar.

Two responses above made the exact points I would have.

The 540C and the 911 Turbo for starters.

To repeat, I also love my F Type but the choice between a £140k F Type and the 540 would take me about five seconds to make and it would be the McLaren every time.
