Voice Instructions using CarPlay

Hi, my car is MY20 running S21A infotainment software. I don’t get voice instructions when using waze or Googlemaps through CarPlay. I was told that this was a known issue that would be fixed with a software update in Oct 21 but my car still says it’s up to date with S21A, and still doesn’t give me voice instructions. Grateful for an update (pun intended 😬)

It is a known problem related to a previous JLR update (May/June 2021?)
It really limits the usefullness of the Carplay nav system, especially since the JLR nav system requires you to be stationary and input to a keypad,
Apparently it affects all JLR (Jags and LRs) cars with Carplay.
The fix has been promised several times but still waiting.

I am very interested in your response to this thread.
Are you suggesting that Jaguar is not aware of this problem?
It is a very well known and much discussed issue here in US and apparently affects all Jags and LR's.
My 2021 F-Type has had this issue sinec about May/June - it worked fine before that time when presumably a JLR update screwed it up..
My software is up-to-date. I keep being told "JLR is working on the problem and a s/w fix is expected soon".
Trouble is that message has been repeated in August, September, October and here we are in November with still no fix.
If you work at Jaguar, please provide an update .

Has this issue been allowed to die yet again??
Is JLR doing anything to resolve this long standing problem?

Is he Pete or Dan at Jaguar?
Current: Fuji White MY19.5 P300 R-Dynamic F-Type Convertible 20" Black wheels, Exterior Black Pack, Windsor Leather performance Seats etc.
Previous: Italian Racing Red MY17 Jaguar XE 25t R-Sport, Black Pack, 19" black venom wheels, sunroof etc.

So how hard can it be??
JLR could at least update with an anticipated real date for the fix.
Looks like another black hole.
Seems they just do not care about customer service after you have dropped your $100K
