Hi everybody,
After coming to the end of my warranty in December, I finally pulled the plug and got the crank pulley and ecu tune done on my V6s at David Appleby Engineering yesterday, all I can say is Wow!!! The transformation is amazing, the drive back to Stockport was exhilarating, and the biggest surprise was that on the way down to Oxford, I managed a measly 19.4 mpg average, on the way back after the tune I averaged 29.6 mpg! The car pulls like a train and has been transformed into a completely different animal, she's gone from a thoroughbred racehorse to a saddled cheetah, it's like having a new car again, big thanks to the guys at D.A.E, for making my day and transforming the big cat from a Jaguar to a Cheetah.
Crank pulley + Ecu tune on V6s.
Hello
Well done .. just a couple of questions if that would be ok ? also to add you went to the right place for the upgrade
1. how much did it cost
2. How long did they have the car
best regards

Hi Kaspa, the total price including vat and labour came to £2,034, they had the car for about 3 hours.
I've not dyno tested the car, but I believe the modifications take the power to 453 bhp, i'm guessing from the difference between before and after, that the quoted figures are definitely in that ballpark, and like I said on the thread, a massive gain in fuel economy from the drive down to Oxford to the drive back to Stockport.daytona650 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 10:44 am Very interesting - i have the same questions and also what power are you making now?
