Hi everybody,
After coming to the end of my warranty in December, I finally pulled the plug and got the crank pulley and ecu tune done on my V6s at David Appleby Engineering yesterday, all I can say is Wow!!! The transformation is amazing, the drive back to Stockport was exhilarating, and the biggest surprise was that on the way down to Oxford, I managed a measly 19.4 mpg average, on the way back after the tune I averaged 29.6 mpg! The car pulls like a train and has been transformed into a completely different animal, she's gone from a thoroughbred racehorse to a saddled cheetah, it's like having a new car again, big thanks to the guys at D.A.E, for making my day and transforming the big cat from a Jaguar to a Cheetah. :o

I've not dyno tested the car, but I believe the modifications take the power to 453 bhp, i'm guessing from the difference between before and after, that the quoted figures are definitely in that ballpark, and like I said on the thread, a massive gain in fuel economy from the drive down to Oxford to the drive back to Stockport.

Very impressive, 340bhp to 453bhp for not a lot of money wow. Throw in the far better fuel consumption, you have done very well
