Hello All,

Noticed, when closing my door, that things weren’t moving as they should. Then spotted a rubber trim piece out of place. This was at the bottom of the fixed window frame where the door window closes onto.

I’ve smeared a coating of silicone grease on the vertical rubbers that the edge of the door windows meet when closing. This has made the opening/closing of the doors smoother. Will put less strain on the motor & rubbers.

Not life changing but may prevent premature wear on these parts.

Gummi Pflege, that's the stuff to use. Apply on all door seals including the boot. In fact all rubber seals. Keeps the seals supple & stops the doors freezing shut in minus temperatures. I use it on all my cars & never have any problems
