Carbon Blade Wheel Referb
My wheels were in need of a referb due to minor curbing and Lacquer starting to corrode, I have thought long and hard and decided on a colour change to gloss Black, picked the car up today and I am very happy with the result, may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it does look different, tomorrow I shall apply a couple of coats of Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour and a fresh coat of paint to the rear brake callipers. I’ll post some more pics as and when..
What paint are you using in the rear calipers?

You'll Kick yourself in a year or two...I had black powder coat. They look nice for a while.
Even a fastidious detailer like myself could't stop the things from scratching. YMMV
Silk, not gloss is my choice same as OEM.

Wheels look great but I agree with satin vs gloss
Looks great for a week unless you plan to clean them after each drive
Have satin black oem on my Evoque and never need to clean beyond a hose down

Had the rear wheels off today so we could get at the rear brake callipers for a coat of Brembo Red from BCS Automotive I filed & sanded the front faces to get rid of the casting marks then applied 2 coats of paint, at the same time the wheels were sealed with Gtechniq C5. I can understand the concerns from others regarding scratches with gloss Black however I had owned an Audi Q5 with 21” gloss Black wheels, they were sealed from new Gtechniq C5, when I sold the vehicle after 3 years and the wheels were still perfect, I have seen Carbon blade wheels painted in Satin Black and I much prefer the gloss Black finish.
Here’s some pics of the calliper referb.
