Hello,
I have just noticed white blotches have started to appear on my carbon fibre roof.
It is a 2017 SVR so still in manufacturers warranty.
Should this happen and would it be covered by Warranty
i have taken photos but they don't show up to well on camera but the issue is pretty much identical to this BMW thread i found - although the blotches on my SVR are worse than this example and pretty visible

Only thing that's happened over last 3-4 days is car has been outside and got fairly well covered with autumn leaves as we have a lot of trees surrounding the house
Sometimes, the quality of lacquer isn't up to scratch and the UV light reacts with something that may have fallen on the surface.
Be very, very gentle with something like Meguiars Scratch X or perspex polish and a new micro fibre towel. Afterwards, coat with some Carnuba paste ot better still some Gtech Quartz Serum.
It's not like the old days of Vim or T-Cut and turtle wax...the surface coatings are 'waffer' thin!

I see on another couple of threads you have posted several times a minute apart yesterday.
You do realise if you remember something else, you can just go back and edit your original post to add it?
Just tap on the pencil above your first post to edit it.
Likewise on another multiple post you did you can delete the posts if they are no longer relevant ?
