Talking of budget tyres, just completed a car run here in Andalusia.
There was a Ferrari Testarossa on the run shod with budget tyres.
Each corner was a different budget tyre😲
F-Type V6S convertible MY16

Red soft top
Red electric and heated sports seats
Black dash and door cards
Red belts
Flat bottom heated wheel

@JurassicF__ You mean 4 different types/brands of tires on a single car ?
This annulls the assurance ánd road legality !

I’m not sure I agree with that for the UK. Clearly mixing different types such as cross ply and radial is illegal, but not different makes or brands of the same tyre.
For sure it’s clearly sensible to match the brand and tread pattern for balanced performance and safety but that doesn’t mean illegal or insurance invalidated.
Personally I’d never run different brands front to rear except short periods when swapping with different wear rates. 4 random budget is clearly stupid.
