I was put on Furlough on 27th March

Payed weekly I should have been paid on 3rd April .

No wages paid..

The Furlough portal hasn’t even been opened yet and it looks like it will be end of April at best when it does.

I take it that my employer should be paying me as normal ( 80% but same time) and then they claim it back when portal opens?

Any info or links ?

Says the end of April to be up and running.
It's pretty clear it's the employers responsibility to claim from the Govt

My son has a part time job at JD Sports, he got paid as usual on Friday. He actually got more than usually as even though it’s 80% it’s based on his average hours worked not his 8 hour contract.

I'm an employer and furloughing some people. We have to pay them as normal (or at 80% or £2500) and then claim the cash back.

Same here. Issue for some businesses will be cash flow. They have to pay out and then claim back. More difficult when the process to do that hasn't been fully put in place.
