Pedantry of the week award!
:D
You know exactly what I mean and whilst we have an "off topic" section it isn't a free for all.

Hi Guys, as the one that started this topic, I fully understand Phil's point that there is a human aspect here, but I'm sure that we know that a "Car forum" is not the best place for financial advice and we won't intend to "profit" from this.

One of the reasons I started this is to learn how the economic impact is in different parts of the world as it gives me some perspective to what I see locally (which believe me is not good).

Personally, it goes someway to help me maintain my sanity !

Whether we're battling this virus or not, it's taking it's psychological toll. I keep up to date with what the world is going thru and the economic impact is as bad as the virus in that it's costing people their livelihoods. If people can't work, they don't earn and cannot spend and so the economy suffers.
While it's great driving the Jaguar without battling traffic, it ain't so great getting to ones destination to find all the restaurants closed and queuing to get into a supermarket brings the reality home.

Let's keep this topic open as it will probably evolve into one where we can just share our frustrations.

Friend of a friend has a dog grooming business and has apparently been given some sort of covid certification after going through some sort of exercise to ensure safe practices.

Got me thinking, you get an insecticide bath a haircut, nails cut, teeth descaled and a tummy tickle if you're good. Probably need to wear a muzzle/mask but that's going to be the same when barbers shops eventually reopen anyway 😆

Here in Marbella, my hairdresser/barber is now open but in full PPE gear. I have to wear a mask and gloves. By appointment only and one in the shop only.

No doubt like many others, I did it my self with a grader - it's a lot less bovver than a hover! :D

Now the birds have lots of nest lining and I certainly bear no resemblance to Phil "Dennis the Menace" B now

I think I have gone back to the 70's.
If I keep going I'll be able to do a pony tail soon.
Definitely looking at getting clippers with the guides.
End result will either be a coconut style or if all else fails back to my skinhead days................... :D

Been cutting my hair with a clippers for many years.......probably since my solar panel started enlarging! Took a while to get the technique right (especially the back) and a few mistakes were made along the way!

Wouldn't dream of going to a barbers now and no PPE needed either! :D

Haha - did mine last night. Good job I prefer it short as that's how it came out.
Makes me question why I pay £34 per 5 weeks normally.
