As with many people on here, my rear calipers were wearing thin on paint

So I decided to buy a kit from BCS Automotive Ltd and they recommended Ferrari Red, so after jacking up the car

I wire brushed then using my drill driver and then cleaned with brake cleaner. All of this was done with the caliper insitu as it's only aesthetic rather than functional.
After 2 coats I'm quite pleased with the results but will need to check all is well after some hard and hot braking.

Considering they are done in situ, outside, I think the results are remarkable!

They are a piece of cake to take apart if you ever do them again.

What type of paint/coating is it?

Hi Tel,
Not sure but it was a mix of paint and hardener (is this what they call two pack?), mixed 2 paint to 1 hardener and gave off a lot of nice smelling fumes.
I did get the kit some time ago and after a few months the hardener set in the bottle, so they kindly sent me a replacement FOC.

That's a misspent youth right there! ;)

I know the stuff, bit like the 2 part fibreglass resin, only smells nicer!

Thanks. I have spare F type calliper on my bench I might 'play' with.
