Has anyone used this company? I believe they're a franchise outfit so specifically the one in Hawley near Camberley, Surrey. I'm thinking about going black on my diamond cut wheels and so wanted to speak/get advice from them, but they don't appear to be open on Saturdays , email probably the way forward, but being a bit old school I like face to face. I'm guessing other people have gone down this route before, experiences? Cheers,

I’ve had a quote from them but can’t say I was overly impressed - seemed quite expensive. The person was friendly enough - came and took photos of each wheel on her tablet, pressed a couple of buttons and emailed me the quote. Efficient, but I wasn’t made to feel like a valued future customer.
Your experience may be different of course.

Edit:
And as Basher has mentioned in a different thread, try Auto Curators near Hook - or from my experience speak to Premier Panel Skills in Farnham - excellent service from Ian the owner there - they don’t do wheel refurbs in house but only put their name to excellent workmanship.

I’ve used The Wheel Specialist in Farnham a few times and they used to do excellent work, with the wheels coming out better than new. However, I used them last year for a wheel on my daughters car and although they were fairly cheap the job the did wasn’t very good - I’d have rather paid more elsewhere. May be a one off as previously very good.

Try Chris at https://exelwheels.co.uk/
I used them to refurbish the wheels on my 911 and the service was excellent.

OK, so quick update for anyone considering a wheel colour change, I contacted Auto Curators in Hook who said they wouldn't just paint the wheels as it would obviously take up valuable garage storage space, but did put me onto the outfit they use called My Alloys near Basingstoke. Very nice people to deal with and talked me through their process (they powder coat not wet paint) and then gave me the quote £406.00 for all four wheels, there was a slight scrape on one wheel but otherwise they were in fairly good condition so that price might change if there was more corrective work to be done. Anyway I went ahead with the work and picked the car up yesterday, very pleased with the outcome going from diamond cut to gloss black as I have the black pack on the car it kind of made sense. So, great job, nice to deal with and a good price, couldn't be happier! Definitely recommend!
