Odd site issue

When I used to log on, I am sure the First topic was Latest posts now it is Recommended for you.
When I click on a thread, instead of opening at the first post it goes to the bottom of the page to the reply box.
there also then is a box which says, you may also be interested in.
It does not give me a chance to start reading the original post, is is just me ? or has something changed.

I updated to the latest forum version the other day which changed latest posts to say recommended for you - but it’s the same thing. I.e same posts just the wording has changed.

It also added in the you may also be interested in bit, this is supposed to be similar topics to what you’re reading.

But everything else should function the same, it should take you to the last post etc. still. I’ll take a look in case there is a bug somewhere.

Something isn’t right with the ‘You may also be interested in’ section in this ‘Odd site issue’ topic as the suggestions aren't similar to what we are reading i.e.....Sat Nav issue, Battery issue, Possible electronics issue, Catalyst issue with exhaust, Dead battery issue?

Perhaps there is a bug?

The first computer dates back to Adam and Eve. It was an Apple with limited memory, just one byte and then everything crashed!

I always click the little red box to the left of the thread subject - that takes me to the first unread post of the thread.

Just use the "What's New" blue box at the top of the page.
It will list a full page of the most recent topics and posts in descending time order.
Clicking on the topic title will also take you to the first post of the topic.
