One more thing to consider
The convertible has pooere rear vision than the coupe.
Having the rear cross traffic warning and rear camera are essential in my opinion with the vert, though I also beleive they are also important in any vehicle.
Rear vision doesn’t concern me with camera and the decent mirrors
Exiting 45+ degree junctions to turn right is tough as zero visibility, so you learn to square them like van drivers need to.
Of course roof down there’s more visibility than the coupe
2014 MY 3.0 V6S Roadster
Subtle enhancements to create the car I wanted from SVR nose cone, 400 series side skirts & customised 'design' rear bumper, to heated SVR steering wheel and more
Mine is a daily driver and I have the top down when it is not raining in winter. I went for the convertible and brand new in a 4 over a similarly priced 6 used pre-owned. Yes sometimes I wish I had the 6 instead but for most daily driving the top down is more a plus for me.
Current: Fuji White MY19.5 P300 R-Dynamic F-Type Convertible 20" Black wheels, Exterior Black Pack, Windsor Leather performance Seats etc.
Previous: Italian Racing Red MY17 Jaguar XE 25t R-Sport, Black Pack, 19" black venom wheels, sunroof etc.
I’m right on the cusp of buying a convertible but it has the infotainment system and as some have mentioned, with the roof down you can’t see anything on the screen for the reflections. Has anyone found an anti reflection film that does the trick over the top?

I’ve tried a couple but they’ve only made it worse.
Have just put up with it and have found that if you can’t see it the passenger can and vice versa.
