I didn’t have any. With the wing in the open position, i removed the torque bolts and lifted the spoiler off. I left the shrouds and fixing arms on the car. Simple enough to do

OK thanks - what trim did you need to remove from the underneath of the boot lid

No trims had to be removed. I just removed the 4 torx screws on the underside of the carbon spoiler and left the mounts in place on the boot

Got it - with the spoiler raised you can see the 4 bolts - apologies but what tool did you use as I have raised my spoiler to the up position and the gap is not as large as the ne you have with limited access or is there a way to tilt the spoiler further?

I used my mini ratchet socket set (1/4”). You can buy them from screwfix etc

Had a 1\4 socket set and won't fit in - for some reason my spoiler doesn't raise as high as yours in the up position and i'm reticent to force it up any higher.
So I think options are
1. Wait till warmer weather and use hair dryer outside in situ see if it improves the look / repairs
2. Have the spoiler wrapped - find the same pattern or union jack wrap
3. New spoiler - just the spoiler element - means taking whole mechanism apart to fit anyway which i'm not sure about.
4. Do nothing for now as not planning to sell in short term anyway

Update - reading a few other car forums this seems a common issue with CF - I picked up one or two tricks one being doust the CF in WD40 or GT85 and leave to soak.
Done that and it seems slowly to be working - bearing in mind it's freezing outside ATM.
So hopefully a few attempts and then a hot air blast from the air dryer for an hour or two once the weather gets better and It may work......

Just an update on this - now the weather has improved i've used an hair dryer on the area covered with blotches - only used for about 5 minutes and the blotches have virtually gone.
So seems it is condensation that gets beneath the lacquer coat.
