No, all V6, even the 400 Sport had open mesh from factory.
AWD of course is a different setup.
Is it a black pack thing? My late 2015 RWD S has shrouded vents and I've no reason to believe it has ever been modded beyond how it was delivered.
When you initially specced the car, did you tick the option for Black Pack, does it show in your build sheet?

Just find it very hard to believe that they would all come with open vents from the factory considering how many V6 cars out there have shrouded vents. Could be a black pack or S thing. In Clarkson's legendary Top gear F-Type review it's a V6S with black pack and shrouded vents. In the Top gear episode with the three F-Types on the Mall Clarkson drives a V6S with black pack and shrouded vents, while May drives a base V6 without black pack, with open vents.

Yeah, that's why I thought it worth asking @F-Typo if he specced the Back pack or not at build....the plot thickens!

JayT who made the covers for his open vents earlier in this thread has an S without black pack and without design pack...

I guess that makes mine semi-open like the one below... although it is the AWD which I think someone said is different again.

Yep, the AWD ones are a different story. The pics above also show the difference between the RWD and AWD bonnet shapes really well.

The AWD sits higher, and the bonnet was modified to suit.
The big differences are underneath, where the sump is a different shape to accommodate all the extra running gear (front diff driveshafts etc).
