Did the SVR come out and then the R 575 ?

Or the other way round ?

SVR came first. Think the SVR was model years 2016/20 and then superseded by R575 with introduction of facelift?

Correct, the SVR was discontinued when the latest facelift came out, and the R 575 inherited a lot of the SVR's parts.

And....
In coupe form the SVR comes with V MAX mode. Everything tuned to 11.. for the all important 200mph (Michelle Rodriguez can confirm).
