I'm looking for a V8R AWD in Corris or Eiger Grey, FJSH, panoramic roof and rear camera ..... ideally 2017+, sub 30k miles, 1-2 owners, no performance mods.

[https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/15001255] has potential - doing a basic check using caranalytics.co.uk suggests the car has had 2 owners, with 3 different number plates - W2DLF , WD67OHJ and LAY50N.

I would really appreciate any information about this car, especially service history, ownership, accident or other information deemed as useful.

Reason I'm asking on this forum is that I found the post on VO66JZT very informative - that level of detail must be invaluable to prospective buyers.

Car 47734.

V8 R AWD in Corris Grey. An MY18 spec manufactured around early Jan 2017 (based on sequence number) PDI on 27th Feb 2017 at Guy Salmon Northampton (which no longer exists as it became Sytner).

The cars warranty started from 3rd October 2017 hence the 67 plate. This is typical of showroom cars or cancelled customer orders where they are not registered with DVLA until sold.

I agree with two previous owners.
MOT history is a mass of worn out and damaged tyres. Take from that whatever you want about how much care it might of had.

As it has been on multiple plates I cannot assist with PNC or previous damage queries.

Service history below. Missing 3rd service record. Missing rear diff oil at 4th service. Missing spark plugs at 5th service. Missing any sign of transfer case fluid changes. So ask Jaguar for the service history they can see internally as the invoices will state what was actually done and they can update the online records as well.

Many thanks for the quick response.

I'm in favour of servicing a car every year, alternating between major/minor, to the extent that my 2008 R32 has a full 15 year VWDSH.
On that basis I'm not happy that the 3rd service was skipped, especially on this type of car. That and the MOT history that you describe suggests that at least some of the missing diff oil, spark plug, transfer case fluid items were probably also skipped.

The 2022 service was done at what seems to be a German car specialist, although their homepage states they specialise in 13 manufacturers - Google reviews mention a lot of VW Golf R related work.
The 2023 service was done 4 months early by Sytner - probably when they took the car in - to get an official Jag stamp back in the service book to improve its saleability?

As you suggest, I might ask Sytner Bristol Jaguar exactly what work has been done, although I've only just started looking and am willing to wait for the right car - I'm 160 miles from Bristol so a long trip to view a car that I'm not sure about.

A couple of things about the specification that I'm not sure about, as I've not seen them on any local F types and can't really visualise what they would look like on an actual car
- fixed rear spoiler - not a fan initially, but the pictures having started growing on me
- 5 spoke alloys in Satin Grey with Carbon inserts - I've never had dark alloys on a car, more along the lines of the 6 spoke 'gyrodyne' diamond cut alloys
Any comments most welcome.

Thanks again.

I have the fixed rear spoiler and think it makes the car. I'm not a fan of the deployable one that tells everyone when you exceed 70 mph in the coupe, 60 mph in the convertible, and I think it looks ugly when it's up (personal opinion, not a "fact"). Looks good when down, though. I've also got the carbon blade wheels and think they're a good look, depending on the car colour - they don't actually look black to me. But it's all subjective so you'll have to make up your own mind! ;)

Thanks scm. I've looked at some pictures on Google images of a grey V8R with the fixed rear spoiler and I'm inclined to agree with you that it really suits the car - one also had the carbon blade wheels.
