Hey everyone, I’m looking for a clay mitt recommendation, but here’s the thing—I need something really heavy-duty. Let’s just say I’ve got some unique stains on my car (don’t ask, long story). I’ve tried a few brands, but they can’t handle… organic residue.
Anyone know a mitt that can tackle unusual contaminants without leaving streaks?
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried, something like Gtechniq W7 Tar and Glue Remover or concentrated citrus pre-wash beforehand, then tackle with a clay bar. If all fails 🤔 As Tim corrected me… don’t MOP 🙄

Clay is for removing only one type of contaminant and only in very rare situations. We don't clay at all, unless we encounter those situations (one car in twenty perhaps), and we get our cars >>perfectly<< clean. You could help yourself by stating what the contaminant is, how it got there, and how it looks, otherwise you're very likely about to make things (possibly much) worse. People in the 'all the gear and no idea' world very often clay bar because they don't know for example about tar and iron, or how to MOP, or what specific product is suitable to address their issue. MOPing contaminated paint simply machines the contaminant into the paint; you need to remove it, not work it in.
