Yes, I also have a grit guard bucket and all the usual stuff, the problem is the previous owners didn't. Anyway my OCD is now fixed, Scott just sent me some more photos of his work on Saturday with some before and after shots:

Great finish on your motor buddy, awesome job. Can I ask how long it took him from start to finish?

Cheers, I'm much happier with it now, my OCD had been driving me mad with it.

I dropped it off with Scott (http://www.obsessivecardetailing.co.uk/) on Friday afternoon and collected just as he'd finished at 6.30pm on Saturday. In total I'd guess 12 -14 hours work. I've used him in the past where he'd come out to my house and work in the drive but due to the colour he wanted it in his workshop under LED lights. Last time he did my old V8V he was there from 7am to 8pm almost non stop.

Top job, were you not tempted to go the whole hog & have it ceramic coated?

It was an option but at an additional £125 it was pushing the boundaries of even my man maths.

Well he's certainly done a nice job for sure. i'm a wax man so I didn't want to go the ceramic route either. I enjoy applying various waxes every few months although my latest wax application is ceramic infused, awesome stuff
