Well. Jaguar said they were coming between 11am and 1pm. Texted at 11:30am to say they would be there by 12 and they were!

Pumped tyre up, jacked up car and found a nail on inside shoulder. Right on the edge. Not repairable by them.
If it was then he was happy to take it off and get it repaired and bring it back. So Jaguar Derby are finding a tyre and sorting it out now.

I had a puncture,called Jaguar Assist and they arranged a low loader and took me and car to the Tyre Shop of my choice.
No tyre avilable so tyre shop rang round, located one had it shipped next day and all for a very small premium.

Update to my topic.

6yrs of ownership, 44k miles and 6th service and MOT done today. Oil, filters, brake fluid and transfer fluid. Went with the Inchcape £385 offer.

No issues. Fingers crossed for another good year.

They do a "service to schedule" for £385. Never had an issue, I did get questioned when I dropped car off this time asking whether I wanted the transfer case fluid doing for an extra £142 but when I queried it, it was not mentioned again. So,

I had 1st, 2nd and 3rd on a service plan from new. £999.
4th service Oil and Rear Diff and used the £385 service to schedule, no issues
5th service Oil and Spark Plug and used the £385 service to schedule, no issues
6th service Oil, brake fluid and transfer case fluid and again used the £385 service to schedule but did get queried when I dropped it off but no issues come payment.
7th service next year is just an oil change so the cheapest way is to book on Jaguar website direct for £181. I might add Rear Diff oil 1yr early and Front Diff 2yrs early though.
