Collapsing parcel shelf coupe

Hi
Upon opening the boot a couple of weeks ago, noticed that the parcel shelf wasn't sitting straight and after taking a look saw that the plastic bracket on one side was loose and had collapsed causing the supporting pin to fall off the bracket.
Thought I'd have to try and repair myself when I had more time to look at it more closely when I found the time but after driving past the local dealership, decided to call in and ask them about it.
A guy from service came out and after a matter of seconds said yes we'll order you a new parcel shelf if it's under warranty.
Asked if it was a common problem and he said they'd had a couple that were similar.
As the car is under warranty, will be going back to collect the new parcel shelf next Saturday. Don't know how much they cost if not under warranty?
Anyway, good result although if the replacement lasts as long as the original then will be out of warranty by the time it needs replacing again!
