I would be wary of graphite grease unless it specifically says it’s ok for high temperatures. You can get spray copper grease quite cheaply from screwfix and it states it’s an anti seize for exhausts and suitable for temperatures up to 1100 deg.

As the Graphite Oil spray I have doesn't specify that it's suitable for high temperatures I'll give it a miss and get the copper grease spray instead. It's always handy, even though my car's exhaust valves haven't started to squeak or seize up.
