Just a point here. I used to fit security alarms to domestic & industrial premises. I was cheap & my dad gave me a talking to. He said some people who have money are used to paying a lot for things. If you go in with too cheap a price they will go somewhere else, thinking your services are no good. Maybe Jaguar think this way. Guy buys a £100,000 + car & buys lots of goodies, cos he can. He probably would not think of going down the cheap route, like all us paupers would.

I wouldn’t disagree with you there Stevie - and I would usually rather pay a bit more for the genuine OEM article because you know it will be good quality and will fit correctly.

I think it’s the rebranding of other manufacturers items (e.g, CTEK charger) and the subsequent price hike that goes with it, that is a bit cheeky.

But as with everything, if you don’t mind paying the price, it’s irrelevant anyway.
