i'm really not enjoying having turned 40 on that front, I did a very sobering survey yesterday that put me into 40-64 :'(

Ok I am an old fart but still grin as much as a youngun when I floor it.

At ajbh. I'm not sure when you turend 40, but having been thru it and not having enjoyed it either AND going through a "mid-life" crisis, I assure you that like everything in life, you get used to it.
Every cloud has a silver lining, in 10 years from now, we'll look back and say "I wish I were 40 again ..."

Try passing 60. I'm having a mid life crisis every 5-10 years and have a trail of evidence in a warehouse with no purpose than storing Jeeps

40 the Jeeps, 50 a Z4, 55 a need for a second home and 60 brought the F Type

This year rolling 12 months it's travel. Aside around 80 flights to and from Spain on business, I've been to Madeira, 2 weeks time is Spain and then June is Austria, before 2 more holidays in Spain. You can't beat a good crisis to keep you young, just they seem to be getting more frequent as the years pass

The good thing about having a mid-life crisis at 60 means you've got another 60 to keep enjoying your Jag!

Only on the survey front, 30s were my best decade yet, I'm assuming 40s will be the same Except now I can apparently injure myself while sleeping :p #oldladyjoints #oohmyneck

Although we all share something in common, which is the reason we're on this forum, this thread at least highlights our difference's and that each has followed a different path.

Some have attained in the 20's what has been practical and possible for others to attain 20-30 years later in life.

Our experience's in between differ markedly, but at the end, we'll all finish the race in much the same way.

While the machines we own and love will be look and feel the same at the end of its lives, unfortunately the same can't be said for us, with the human body being genetically programmed to call it quit's after a certain date.
I've said it before and while I am glad I was "eventually" able to get an F Type, I wish I was in a position to get it when I was 30.
