Hi Corne, thanks !

- I will drop the lodgings;
- Ask if they do the 'á la carte' brunch / coffee at 10-11 at https://redirect.viglink.com/?format=go ... nl%2Fen%2F

- book the cellars with the lunc location [ deposit € 100 to make sure..];
- book the afternoon drinks that the dealers offer ;
- ask info on the diner price, private for 10-20 people ;

I will post this data ASAP. I need a reply within two weeks so, I guess before 15th of september.

for now I assume that 7 cars will join, most of them are couples. I show the nice hotel from the picture and we keep in touch.

I contacted all three venues, have to wait until tuesday I guess, for replies.

Asked for an 'opt-out' up to 29/9 in case of terrible weather forecasts...

There is one problem :

1. The first venue wants 25% down on reservation and 50% down 6 weeks before [ so before 1st september ].

I don't think everybody already can say if they want the dinner . I opted for a 3-course meal with a choice per course and vegitarian alternative.

https://www.restaurant-rhederoord.nl/wp ... 19-DEF.pdf

Who can already say they defenitely want to have dinner and are willing to do a downpayment [ € 19,- perp person] ?

If this is not possible, I can keep only the coffee at 10am there [ I risk the down payment on my account , like I do for lunch also ].
We look for another place for dinner then.

Please respond quickly, before the end of the weekend please [ 5th is monday.. ].

Please reply ASAP : I need to know what you want , this is only a suggestion ! :?: :?: :?: :?:

--- If you are completely happy to bring your own food, we make it a picknick at 13h and forget about the castles ---

- we could remove the 'borrel /drinks' at 18h an go straight to the dinner [ prices goes from € 65 --> € 50 ] ;
- if its too expensive for more then 5 people ; we don't get the 'koepelzaal' then , I cancel the dinner ;

This is for 20 persons without drinks . With a coffee or tea at 10am, refreshment at 18 and glas of wine at dinner, it comes around € 65 per person.

- A modest lunch will add around € 12 per person. The drinks/snacks at 16h will be sponsored by the regional JLR dealer.

So I finally got a quote for the Castle location :

10:00 Aanvang 20 volwassenen Brantsenzaal ; 1 broodje/gebakje________________[ ex. koffie/thee ]__________67,50 euro
11:00 Vertrek 20 volwassenen

17:30 Terugkomst op Rhederoord 20 volwassenen Lounge
18:00 Borrel 20 volwassenen ; Huishapjes op plateau 3 st. p.p.____________________[ex. drankjes ]___________90,00 euro

19:00 Diner koetshuis 20 volwassenen Koepelzaal - 3 gangen keuzemenu _______[ ex. drankjes ]___________830,00 euro

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________subtotaal 987,50 euro

______________________________ --- DEADLINE IN SIGHT--

Corne was asked by pariticipants on FB to start diner earlier as most have to drive back to Belgium afterwards, this is no problem.

- no drinks/bites at 18h, we start dinner directly

BUT..

If we book this I have to make a deposit of 100% : I am not willing to finance this as I don't even have a name of many people
[10x FB says Corne]. https://redirect.viglink.com/?format=go ... 19-DEF.pdf

So on monday 12/8 , if I don't have at least 12 persons who all are willing to also transfer to me € 50 pp [ I will still take a risk of € 400],
I will cancel this location. They don't accept a booking for coffee at ten only [ I assume].

There are other places we can eat. We can also shorten the trip and move dinner more north : then we combine the drinks/bites
offered by the dealer with the location for dinner. Parking is a bit limited there, this is a small risk. I think we can there eat each what
we want and they will accept a lower deposit, maybe no deposit if they are happy with the bussiness.

Corne has discussed with the FB-crowd. Result :

On 13th october :

- coffee at 10am in the area of Arnhem [ if we succeed at Rhedenoord about € 7 pp]. If not, elsewhere 'a-la-carte';
- tour to lunch* location, that I will confirm [ arrive 12.30--13.00h ];
- 14h tour to drink/snack location [ arrive 15.30-16h ]. This is offered by the dealer ;
- 17h finished : dinner if possible on the same location, I will ask if we have to book this in advance;

The lunch location informed me they are not equiped to offer the full menu to a large group due to a small team in the kitchen.
So they asked if we agree to 3 options for food [ drinks whatever ].

--> You don't have to eat here, but do not eat your own food. It's a restaurant. <---

Suggested options :

Van Dobben kroketten met friet á € 9,95 [of met brood á € 8,95 ];
Of
Omelet met gebakken champignons, ui en kruiden á € 9,25 [ brood naar keus ];
Of
Oude Goudse: Boerenlandbrood met oude Goudse kaas, rucola, tomaatjes en kruidendressing ဠ7,95

Dit is een voorbeeld, het is mogelijk om de gerechten te wijzigingen tot 29 september 2019.
