‘CLUNK’ noise / 'Lurch' when engaging the F-Type auto transmission in reverse or drive.

Grazie mille RSPN. Appreciate your thorough research and updates. I discovered these noises too. But only because I wanted to hear my exhaust each morning with the windows down.

Great to know it's normal, and not surprising given the high performance category these cars are in.

I recall very similar noises and clunks even in my E class when cold, but usually disappeared after a longer drive.
