Mclaren Shocking Service

I would like your opinions on this, as you all probably have had direct experience, but I could not believe this

It's the shocking treatment of two customers by Mclaren Manchester. I have read some of the terrible treatment that the Jaguar owners on the forum have suffered with their F Type's, but this by Mclaren (2 - 3x the price of an FT) takes the cake !

there's also a follow up video on this saga (which I'll be watching today).

The "contract" that Mclaren Manchester made the customer sign wouldn't even be legal here in South Africa.
Oh, and a happy new year to you all.
With the quiet roads this past week, I've had a great time driving the F type around Centurion !!

My car was only € 80k+ [taxation].. ..but we got a unveiling of our F-Type..

We signed the contract to buy , scanned it and paid the day before delivery..
They need a copy of your driving license to register the car, and you need to get insurance.
No paperwork at all on site..

@ Stevie
I have been viewing his videos, this was the only one of this kind. But have look at the follow up video where he clearly staTES the reasons for the video, and Mclaren's response.

I disagree that it was a case of slamming Mclaren.

Sorry, but the shirt he's wearing in the 2nd vid ruins any credibility for me.

The problem seemed to be McLaren Manchester. The guy states they also used another dealer (Bristol?) & they were fine. Delivering the wrong car to someone is pretty damming, what happened if no one was home, car in the drive & keys through the letterbox. Honest I didn't take it for a spin
Depreciation on these makes Jaguar seem quite reasonable & a new model every 10 minutes, what's that all about. They would be better sorting out current models first, oh no they are not current we have just brought out a new one

My take away from the clip is the state of some of the car companies like Mclaren and recently Aston Martin. While I prefer the rarity of the F Type, it's clear even JLR must sell alot of cars to ensure cash flow and survival.
With the exception of Ferrari, no car manufacturer can compete with the 3-Germans and their aggressive pricing models have clearly paid off.
Honda and Toyota will always be, but it shows that even a niche super car OEM like Mclaren or Aston face a "bleak" future.
