One for putting on and one for polishing off - you can also hold the ends and get right in-between the exhaust tip and bodywork for a good polish.

I'm trying hard not to believe that I get even better noises when I have a dirty end though.
Polishing cones are like £3....Not exactly a bank breaker for a dedicated piece of reusable kit.
Cheaper than socks...

On my V8 - with the Inconel exhaust pipes, I use metal car polish.
Works very well with some elbow grease and comes out a mirror finish !

I wonder if the wifee will notice if I nick one of her socks and try to sneak it back into her drawer when I'm done

If you're wearing one maybe a stocking would give better visibility!

Depends how he’s wearing it to clean his exhaust
