So all electric in 4 years - its inevitable anyway - all cars will be that way in 20 years - Jag just getting ahead of the curve.

Wonder how it will affect resale values of petrol derivatives and would you buy a petrol derivative f-type in 2024?

I read it to be all models to have electric options? Not all electric?

And TATA software driving it all. Oh crap!

I've had past experience of working with their software developers... albeit in web industry, not automative... but they are truly shit at running & delivering software projects on time, on budget and with any degree of quality.

I'll be sticking with my "old-skool" car!

Doesn't TATA supply the IT infrastructure for F1 and MotoGP? That seems to work pretty well.

Yep, that's the way I read it too... I don't believe that JLR will be making ZERO petrol-powered sports cars in 4 years time. I also don't believe that you won't be able to get spares or service parts in 4 years time for earlier models, as has been suggested.
