tried to arrange a road trip last year, covid did not allow, but considering again after June 6th, just interested to see if there is any interest, date to be agreed.

have been looking at a possible route.
1. meet J27 at the services, A361 to Tiverton, skip around town onto B3137 (nice fast road) through small villages to South Malton, 30 miles or so
2. back onto A361 and A39 to Clovelly 33 miles, stop for cup of tea.
3. drive to Davidstow PL32 9XT, 30 miles 45 min
4 turn towards Dartmoor and Tavistock A395 and A30, 26 miles,
5 Tavistock to The Warren PL20 6TA, 15 miles, lunch, great pub and warm welcome, open fire has been burning 24/7 since 1845
6. Mortonhampstead, Whiddon Down, Exeter 25 miles.
7 head for the hills

If it's on the 6th June we are in
Hopefully going down to Spain on the 8th June for 2 weeks so no good for a couple of weeks after that.

Route looks varied and interesting.

Would also be interested, depending when ..

looking at current guide lines after the 17th may things look a bit easier, so suggest we fix a date based on info we have at the moment and i suggest either Wednesday 26th May Sunday the 30th, or Wednesday 2nd June.

Go with the majority on the date??

For me weds 26th pref ( having my second jab day before!)

Sunday 30th for me, having jab on Wednesday 2 Jun!

30th May or 2nd June for me

I’m in the south west near j27 so would be great for a day out in the new V6 chequered flag so count me in!!!

good to see some of you getting up to date with your jabs, my second one is due the end of may.

I have heard back from the warren, who are bit nervous in booking for April as not fully confident about restrictions and numbers until may 17th, happy to take booking after that date.

In view of the above and the bigger than I thought interest in the trip, I am suggesting we commit to Wednesday May 19th.

Please let me know who is joining for the end of April and I will make the booking for lunch, glad to see Mrs GusA as will be some company for my better half.
