Read Jaguar sorted the ability to assign new keys via the OBD port with a hardware upgrade in 2015.
Is this correct or should I add an OBD lock to a 2021 model?

Thanks

Yes, things changed in 2015.
A search on these forums using the seach box above would have answered your question.

Yeh I found that but was oldish and just checking nothing has changed for new model or if thieves had found a workaround
Thanks for the quick response
I take it there has been no fix for the key clone via easy access?

Relay theft. If you have keyless entry then keep key (and spare key) in a faraday bag or such like. You can disable keyless entry (if you have it).

All cars have keyless start (except a few which have a key which were 2012 prototypes).

Always double lock as that enables dead locks so if someone breaks a window the door still won't open from the inside or outside.

Thanks for the peace of mind πŸ‘
Shame you can’t set deadlock as first press πŸ™

Seriously ?
I can't recall any car I've owned which double locks on the first press.
I think you will have to "suffer" the usual of pressing a button twice.

Can we give the trivial gripes a rest for a bit ?
Thanks.

Why would you not fit an OBD lockable cover?
