Earlier this week my engine warning light came on :o I used an ODB2 port reader to get the codes, which were as follows:

P0055
Raw code: 0055
ECU: Engine control unit
Status: Pending
OBDII: Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S), bank 1, sensor 3 - heater resistance

P0142
Raw code: 0142
ECU: Engine control unit
Status: Pending
OBDII: Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 3, bank 1 - circuit malfunction

P0144
Raw code: 0144
ECU: Engine control unit
Status: Pending
OBDII: Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 3, bank 1 - high voltage

P0142
Raw code: 0142
ECU: Engine control unit
Status: Confirmed
OBDII: Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 3, bank 1 - circuit malfunction

The earliest the garage can take a look is Thursday next week. I was planning on taking the car on a 120 mile round-trip to Silverstone on Sunday, but I'm not sure if this is such a good idea now. I believe the sensor in question is after the cat, so I wouldn't have thought driving the car will cause any issues, but as I'm not the most technical F-Type owner in the world, I was hoping someone more technical than me on this forum could give me some much needed advice!

I don't know about our engine control but I know some engines are programmed to run rich, the exhaust sensor input then adjusts the mixture. Worth waiting for proper advice before risking it.
