Thanks all. Will look into the CTEK kit.

I agree I don't particularly like stop/start, more a concern that something that should be working, isn't. Good to understand some of the possible reasons why - thanks.

Wasn't aware I had two batteries!

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Had this problem and it was the battery. Put it on a CTEK 5 charger (a brilliant bit of kit) and worked fine again.
