After 2.5 years careful driving I have somehow aquired a small scuff to my rear offside black wheel. No idea how.

I don't fancy paying for a wheel repair until I (ever) accumulate any more scuffs. So just wondered if anybody had succesfully, and temporarily, covered up a small scuff on a black wheel with any type of paint etc ?

If it’s only tiny you could try a permanent marker for now - it works well on black trim.

I started trying to repair a small scuff and it just got
larger as I tried until I ended up getting the whole wheel repainted. It was Probably just my lack of skill. Bloody nightmare I wish I had just left it alone as it was hardly noticeable

Hammerite Smooth Black is a very good product and gives long-lasting protection.....ideal for touching up black wheel scuffs etc.

Exactly what I did on mine. Works well and has lasted many washes without fading! Good until they need a full refurb

Some good suggestions thanks. I didn't think about it at the time, but am glad now I got an F Type with black wheels as these solutions would not be an options for touching up a silver wheel.
